Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2019 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth F. Shapland (1985). Dear and loving mother of Linda Roach, Richard Shapland (Sandi) and Ronald Shapland. Cherished grandmother of Bradley (Nicole), Jeffrey (Dawn) and Daniel. Great grandmother of Liam, Jonah, Claire, Sam and Charlie. Dear sister of Bart McConnell. Predeceased by her sister Doris and brother William (Bud). The memorial service to honour Ida’s life will take place at the PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Saturday, March 30th beginning at 11:00 am, visitation will take place one prior to the service (10 -11:00 am). Interment will follow at Pelham Friends Church Cemetery. The family would like to invite friends back to 45 Pelham Town Square (Seniors Building) for refreshments and to share memories.
