Hilliard, Gwen Marie (nee Little)
Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health, Owen Sound on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Paul Hilliard (2018) for 54 years. Dear mother of Mike (Ruth Ann), Andy (Cathie) and Dan (Jeff). Cherished grandmother of Nathalia (Matthew) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Johnathan (Sherry) of Desboro, Ontario and great-granddaughter Kyrsten. Remembered by her siblings Joyce, John, Susan, Wendy, Dana, Rob and Ann. Predeceased by her parents Dan & Isabel Little and her brother David and her sister Linda. Remembered by her sister-in-law Joan Hilliard, Grant & Lorraine Hilliard and Warren Hilliard. Gwen will also be greatly missed by her little guy Bentley (the dog) other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First. St., Orangeville, Ontario on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:30 p.m. Spring Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to the War Amps or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Gwen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
