Chrystel Anne Jones
1948-2019
Chrystel Jones of Upper Hainesville, NB passed away on March 4, 2019
at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Chrystel was born on
March 8, 1948 at Upper Hainesville, NB, a daughter of the late Richard
and Florence (Brawn) Webb.
Chrystel was a bar and lodge manager at Crabbe Mountain Ski Resort for
33 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing and travelling to the
Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Chrystel loved her much admired
flowers at Mactaquac Park and family drives out the mill road. She
loved visiting family and spending time with all her grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Gary Jones; her children,
Mark Stephenson (Jocelyn), Upper Hainesville, NB, Carol Stephenson
(John), Millville, NB, Rebecca Davies (Gareth), Stanley, NB and Kyle
Jones (Lisa), Whistler, BC; ten grandchildren, Aaron, Denny, Alison,
Brandon, Taylor, Emma, Rowan, Rhian, Rhys and Maeve; three great
grandchildren, Aaliyah, Mialin and Avery; one sister, Gail Nicholson,
Peterborough, ON; two brothers, Kevin Billings (Valerie) and Carson
Billings, both of Stoney Creek, ON; her mother-in-law, Julia Jones,
Upper Hainesville, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Horace
Webb; a brother-in-law, Donald Nicholson; a niece Heather Vanderheyden
and her step-father, Elwood Billings.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 12 noon until 2
pm, followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel with
her sister, Rev. Gail Nicholson and her nephew, Dean Billings
officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Ridgeview
Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Taylor Harrington, Emma Wark and Alison
Stephenson.
Active pallbearers will be Brandon Bustard, Aaron Stephenson, Denny
Stephenson, Mark Stephenson, Kyle Jones and Dean Billings.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Chrystel the family
has suggested the Ridgeview Cemetery.
