Passed away peacefully with his family present at the Wellington Terrace on March 28, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Gerda vandenBoom (2002). Loving father of Jack (Cheryl) Bakker, Shirley (Maurice) Obergan, Anne (Mike) vonHolstein and Jerry (Ann) Bakker. Cherished grandfather of Nick (Meg), Melissa (Brandon), Jason, Erica (Jordan), Scott (Jacqueline), Amanda (Kevin), Matthew and Nathan. Proud great grandfather of 5.
Thank you to the staff at the Wellington Terrace for their wonderful care and support during Tony’s stay. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. Interment to take place at a later date.
