Obituary of Ted Sjaarda
Ted passed away peacefully on February 6th2019 after a valiant fight with cancer. Much loved husband of Donnagene Nichols Sjaarda. Beloved son of George Sjaarda. Predeceased by his mother Minnie Sjaarda (nee Stryker). Ted will be missed by many family and friends.
Ted was a proud member of the 8thCanadian Hussars, Princess Louise’s and fondly remembered his time with Recce Squadron. Ted was employed at Bloxslea Farms Inc. in Burgessville for 32 years.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Veteran Service Dog PTSD Unit would be appreciated by the family.
