Obituary of Ruth Nesbitt
Nesbitt, Ruth passed away with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, February 22, 2019 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Nesbitt(2005). Dear mother of Linda LaForge(Jim), Kathy Worthington(Roy), Ken(Laura), Tom(Pamela), Dan(late Lorrie), Judith Fasseel(Larry), Tim(Julia) and Ron. Ruth leaves behind 14 precious grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Bob Wilkins, sisters Leone Prouse, Doreen Beard, Eleanor Fero and Lillian Knott(Bob), sister-in-law Rosella Wilkins, dear family friend Sandra VanPuyenbroeck-Nesbitt and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Sarnia, Ontario on December 13, 1931, daughter of the late Graham and Mildred(Shepherd) Wilkins. Ruth’s family moved to the Springfield area in 1947, where she met the love of her life-Jack Nesbitt. Ruth was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker of pies. Friends may call for visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
