1925 – 2019
Ruth Elizabeth McAlpine (nee Morin), passed away at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the age of 93 years. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory: sons, David (Rosella) Morin, Glen (Jan) Morin, Leslie (Lavene) Morin and Ted (Marlies) Morin; daughters, Donna (Gordon) Schroeder and Candace (Kevin) Green; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mable Moller (Peter’s sister) and Mary (Don) Morin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved 1st husband, Peter Morin (April 1973), 2nd husband, Jim McAlpine (July 2003); granddaughter, Jenene Morin (Nov. 2001); brother, Bill Kozroski (Oct. 2018) as well as her parents, Demetri “Jim” and Grace Kozroski (nee Weaver). A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.
