Obituary Overview
Bob
CUNLIFFE, Bob, P. Eng. – Bob died peacefully on February 2, 2019 after a long battle with vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. Much loved husband of Marion for 60 years, and dear father of David (Chris), Michael (Leanne) and Elizabeth (Andrew). Grandfather of Stephanie (Kobe), Kimberley (Carson), Annie, John, Justin and Tyler. Great grandfather of Olivia and Ava. Bob was a proud 5T6 graduate from the University of Toronto in Mechanical Engineering and Business. He was the first member of his family to graduate from university. Bob often told the story of wanting to become a firefighter like his late father and grandfather but his Dad insisted he attend university. Bob enjoyed his varied career and the people he met along the way. His work experience began at B. Greening Wire, then Proctor and Gamble, from there to McLaren’s Foods and ended as Senior Vice President at E.D. Smith. Bob’s last 2 1/2 months of life were spent at Macassa Lodge. Our family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Macassa Lodge for their assistance and compassion. At Bob’s request, a private family service has been held at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home in Ancaster. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Alzheimer’s Society of Hamilton Halton would be appreciated by our family.

Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Robert John Cunliffe 2019..
