McKechnie, Marjorie
Marjorie Evelyn McKechnie (nee Stevens), of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late John McKechnie. Loving mother of Carolynne and her husband Bill Trbovich of Toronto, and John McKechnie and his wife Judy of Corunna. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer McKechnie and Jason McKechnie. Great-grandmother of Elijah McKechnie and Bailey Kendel. Marjorie was a school teacher for 35 years and she taught at Hutton Hill, Victoria Corners, and Saugeen Valley Public School. She was a charter member of the Durham Kinettes, as well as the K-Ettes Club, and the Rebekah Lodge.

Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, February 22nd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
Celebration of Life::
A funeral service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held at the Knox United Church, Durham on Saturday at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.
