Lolita (Forest) Klaverkamp
Our beloved Lolita left us on Monday, February 18th, 2019. She is now truly home and at peace. Lolita was born on August 26th, 1981 in Winnipeg to maman Lise and papa Claude. She was welcomed into the world by two older sisters, Geneviève and Sara, and was eventually joined by five younger siblings, Benoit, Andrée, Maxime, Stuart and Thayden, and with more love from Aline, Mike and Racha. Lolita found soul sisters in Justine, Susie, Haley to name but a few of her countless friends.
She found the deepest well of love in her best friend and husband Matt. They instantly connected when they met seven years ago, loving and supporting each other along their respective journeys. She also gained an immediate family with Matt’s children Andrea and Nick.
Lolita had endless love for her family and friends and gifting to others was her love language; especially her talent for taking the time to write the most sincere, heartfelt cards. Her kind and generous heart endeared many people to her. She loved deeply, felt strongly, and laughed often, supporting others with determination and wisdom beyond her years.
Lolita loved to spend time in nature, joy-filled when sunny skies and ocean waves filled the air, surrounded by those she loved near a good campfire. She had a natural talent for transforming anything she touched, whether it be playing piano or guitar, restoring furniture, interior decorating, her knitting projects, or the meals she lovingly prepared.
Lolita exuded a radiant energy the moment she walked into a room with her heartwarming dimpled smile and loving eyes. Her beauty was genuine on the inside, always attentive to the needs of those around her.
Lolita knew that she was loved and admired by her family and friends. She believed in God, and our comfort at this time, is in knowing that she is with Him, and with other family members that have left us. You will be so deeply missed.
