In Loving Memory
Of
Lois Jean McEwen
While family, friends and neighbours will miss Lois, God called her home Friday, February 23, 2019 after she had been ill for some time. She leaves her sisters, Joyce, Eunice, Dorothy, sisters-in-law Phyllis, as well as nieces and nephews with an empty spot in their lives, but many good memories. Also close friends, John and Jane along with many others will remember Lois as someone who gave freely, but was not afraid to stand up for herself. Her zest for life had her tackle many things, whether camping, babysitting, sewing or even home dialysis. Her skills in cooking and baking were shared by all around her.
Lois is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary McEwen, and her brother Ross.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses for their caring attitude. Lois’ last comments to those caring for her was, “I’m ready to meet my Maker.”
Lois requested no service, but leaves us with shared times with her, while knowing the peace she has with her Saviour.
