Lila Marcella Joudrey « Marcie »
91, of Oakland, passed away at home on Friday February 22, 2019. Born in Fox Point she was the daughter of the late Salem and Eva (Longard) Coolen. Marcie played multiple instruments and she loved to sing in variety shows with her daughter Corinne. She was a master in rug hooking, embroidery and knitted mittens, socks, sweaters and provided these to anyone who needed them. She enjoyed doing puzzles, cryptograms and crosswords. She was a master baker and she was known for making deliveries of her baked goods. She had a great love for all animals and flowers. Marcie’s heart and home were always open to anyone who needed it. Survived by her sons, Allan (Kornelia); Scott both of Fox Point and daughters, Corinne (Dan); Fox Point and Linda, Halifax; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
