Ken was raised in Chapleau but never lost his love of the west where he spent every summer working on the farm, hence the cowboy hat and boots. At the age of 20 he began his teaching career where the students were always his priority. Upon retirement Ken unselfishly devoted his time to coaching and mentoring young talent in the areas of Curling and Baseball. He was a Fourth Degree Knight at Holy Redeemer Church although his health limited his participation. Ken was a devoted father and grandfather, his family was always his passion and first priority. His booming laughter will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
