Jane Elizabeth Applegath, passed away peacefully at Seaforth Long Term Care Home, on Saturday, February 23, 2019. In her 65 years among us, Jane always had a special place in her heart for family and her pets. Jane will be remembered as a loving, gentle soul- one who loved and was easy to love in return. A Tim Horton’s Double Double was a welcome addition to any day.
Jane will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Katharine Applegath and son-in-law Ian Gordon of Zurich. Fond memories of Jane remain with siblings and siblings-in-law Elaine and Chris Catapano, Wayne and Ginger Applegath, Stephen Applegath, and a wide circle of loving nieces and nephews. Jane was a dear friend to Margaret Goodwin. In faith, we trust that Jane’s spirit is now reunited in eternal life with her parents Gordon and June (née Huxtable) Applegath.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Funeral Family Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Honouring Jane’s wishes cremation will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
