Jacqueline Elizabeth James (James)
James, Jacqueline Elizabeth “Jackie” – of Belleville. Entered into rest, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday February 7th, 2019 at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, in her 74th year. Daughter of the late Wallace and Stacia James. Dear sister of Terry James (Marilyn), Don James, and Candace James. Predeceased by siblings Mel James, Teddy James and Sharon Wood. Jackie was loved by her many nieces and nephews. Jackie will be sadly missed by her special caregivers, nieces Lori Wood (Jim Earl), Leeanne Gilmour (Paul) and nephew Paul Wood. Jackie was kind, quiet, creative, and brave. Jackie enjoyed her books and was a prolific reader. She loved to write poetry and had a book of poetry published. Jackie enjoyed her beloved cat Miki, who kept her entertained with his shenanigans. In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Friday February 15th, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Corbyville, followed by a reception at the Hillcrest Community Centre, 69 Centre Street, Belleville. Donations to Hospice Quinte, or to Fixed Fur Life would be appreciated by the family.
