Obituary of Ian Bremner
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ian Bremner following a brief battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Jan and cherished father of Jeremy and daughter in law Blaire. Proud and loving grandfather to Max and Jack. He will be dearly missed by his fourlegged companion, Eddie. Ian will be forever remembered by his childhood friend Rob and his wife Rebecca. Predeceased by his parents, George and Barbara and brother Sandy and sister in law Celeste.
Ian retired from Gordon Food Service in 2009, after having a very successful and rewarding career in the food service industry for over 37 years. Once retired, you could find Ian at his country property, sitting close to his trout pond and listening to his favourite country tunes.
Ian lived life to the fullest and was loved by many. He will be deeply missed.
At Ian’s request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of Ian’s life at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Tuesday, February 12th. Visitation will commence at 1:00 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ian’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
