Passed peacefully away at Blue Crest Interfaith Home,
Grand Bank, NL, on Saturday, February 16, 2019,
GEORGE HENRY
BROWN, NL, in his 92nd year. Leaving to
mourn are his sons Winston (Elizabeth), St.
John’s, Keith (Betty), Rock Harbour, Basil (Gerri), St.
John’s, Colin (Linda), Valleyview, AB, and Allister,
Marystown, daughter Gloria Barter (Darryl), 9 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren; nieces and nephews and a large circle of other
relatives and friends.
George is predeceased by his wife Rita, son Wade and
his parents Henry and Mary Brown.
Resting at St. Peter’s Anglican Church,
Rock Harbour, on Sunday, Feb. 17, from 2 pm and all day Monday. The
funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church,
Rock Harbour, on a date and time to be announced. Interment will
follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Rock Harbour,
