Doreen Mary Di Francesco (Aindow)
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Doreen, who was reunited with her beloved husband John on the morning of February 8, 2019. Doreen leaves behind her 5 children, Deborah (R. Miles) Davis, Carla (Alan) Rizzuto, Nancy (Bruno) Bortolotto, John and Dante (Kristen). Special Nana to 19 grandchildren and GG to 7 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law to Tina (Bill) Bradburn and Shirley Aindow. Missed also by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Roy and Agnes Aindow, and brothers Robert, Donald and Frank. Predeceased also by brothers and sisters-in-law Louie (Lydia) Di Francesco, Dante (Louisa) Di Francesco and Inez (Primo) Salvatore. Her children would like to acknowledge the care provided by the loving staff at Lakeview Retirement Home, which she called home for over 10 years. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, Nash Road and Barton Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Private family entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
