Obituary for Barbara Lorraine Jeffs (Sine)
JEFFS, Barbara Lorraine (nee Sine)-
Long time resident of Stirling passed away after a brief illness peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Sunday, February 24th, 2019 at the age of 89. Daughter of the late Gerald & Vera Sine. Loving wife of the late Ross Jeffs. Much loved mother of Larry Jeffs (Sue) of Stirling, Lorraine Habicht (Marty) of Carleton Place ,David Jeffs (Carol) of Inglewood and Janet (predeceased infant). Proud and adoring grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by Elmer Laver. She is survived by her sisters Geraldine Madill of Trenton and Edith Bird (Maurice) of Frankford. Also survived by brother-in-law Gordon Richardson of Oshawa and sister-in-law Pauline Sine of Stirling and many nieces and nephews. Barb is predeceased by her sisters Joyce Richardson, Lyra Phillips and brother Carl Sine. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law Bill Madill and Harry Phillips.
Visitation will be held at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD. 87 James St. Stirling (613-395-2424) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 1st, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Church, Stirling. As a long time member and supporter memorial donations will be forwarded to Mount Pleasant Church in Stirling.
