October 20, 1935 – January 30, 2019
at the age of 83 years
It is with great sadness the family of Ed Angrignon announces his passing on January 30, 2019, at the age of 83, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 20, 1935, in New Denver, B.C.
He was loved and will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Barb, daughter Tracy (Kim) Mercer, sons Russell (Delena) and Troy (Brian). He is also survived by three grandsons (Matt/April, Jason/Kim and Brad/Amy), three great-grandchildren (Arya, Silas and Brooklyn), his brothers Gene, Randy, John and Gordon, and sister Joan. Ed was predeceased by his father, mother, stepmother, and one infant son.
Ed’s adventurous spirit led him to travel the world with Barb and his ever-present camera, making new friends along the way. He was never happier than when he was sharing adventures with his family. He skied, sailed, motorbiked, kayaked, hiked, biked, and snowshoed. At age 80 he tried his hand at rock climbing, and at age 82 was hiking in the Canadian Rockies with his children, grandchildren, and his great-granddaughter. He had a special place in his heart for all animals, but especially Ben and Abby, his four-legged companions.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. No service by request.
