Loving father of Judy Emery (Lorne), David Leeder (Alda) and Edna Keown (Bruce). Grandfather of Mathew Nigh (Margaret). He will be missed by his extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Nellie Holmes Jackman and John Edward Leeder, and brothers Norman Ewart Chalk and Robert Kenneth Leeder.
Allan was born in Port Elgin, Ontario on May 18, 1928. In his early years he helped on the family farm and threshing business. In 1946 he went to Cuba for two and a half years to clear land for his cousin’s sugar cane plantation. He enjoyed his retirement years connecting with many people in his caring ways.
