Stewart, Alice May passed away peacefully on Sunday February 24, 2019 at Sunset Manor in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Stewart. Loving mother of Brian (Marj) Stewart, Brenda Gardner, Betty (the late Al) Thompson. Cherished grandmother of Tracy, Jason (Allison), the late Jennifer, Jeremy (Mary), Tyler (Stephanie), Cathy (Clayton), Mike (Julie) and Nick (Shannon); great grandmother of Emily (Tyler), Hannah, Erica, Nicholas, Wyatt, Duncan, MacKenzie, Hunter, Cedric, Tessa, Kaitlyn, Devon and William. Dear sister of Tom (June) Montgomery, the late Mary (late Alvin) Williams, Gertrude Gowan (late Carl), the late Lawrence (Jean) Montgomery, William Montgomery and the late Edward Montgomery. Alice will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Creemore Chapel on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday March 1, 2019, with visitation 1 hour prior . Spring interment at South Line Cemetery, Badjeros. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or South Line Cemetery would be appreciated.
