OURSEN, Alex
With great sorrow we announce the passing of Alex Oursen on January 31, 2019
at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born August 29, 1945 in Sydney, he was the son of the late Alex and Evelyn (Ryan)
Oursen.
Alex worked for many years as a delivery driver in the Sydney Area. He was a kind
and gentle soul who loved children and did the best Donald Duck voice this side of
Disney. He was well liked by all who knew him.
Alex is survived by his sister, Marina; nephew, Alex (Kerry) Small and his special
grandniece, Erin.
Cremation has taken place. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2019
at St. Marguerite Bourgoeys Church.
Donations may be made in his name to a charity of one’s choice.
