Obituary for Yves Noel LeBorgne
In loving memory of Yves Noel LeBorgne who passed away Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at Health Sciences North at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 65 years to Gene (Desjardins) LeBorgne predeceased 2017. Loving father of Melissa Glover (Mike) of Chelmsford and Denise Turner (Art) Of British Columbia. Cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren all of British Columbia. Will be missed by his remaining sister Madeleine Allen (Greg) and predeceased by siblings Germaine Kidd (Peter), Frank and Andrea. Yves worked at Inco as an electrician for 34 years until his retirement in 1981. After his retirement he worked for Venture Inn and Kirkwood Construction. He also became extremely involved with the Cadets camp, the Armoury and the Militia. Yves will be remembered for his generosity and great sense of humour and will be missed by many family members and friends. The family would like to thanks Dr’s Mitchell and Centis, and all the attending physicians and caregivers at Health Sciences North.
At Yves’ request, there will be no visitation or service. Burial of ashes will take place in the spring beside his wife at the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. (Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home)
