Toby’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family at the late Toby Amelia Brake announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at the age of 43 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her mother Margaret Brake (Simms); her sons: Trevor & Alex Taylor; her siblings: Meta (Ray) Perry, Edward Jr. (Christa); her special sister Jacqueline (Tommy); her 2 nieces: Rae-Lynn & Kennedy; her 5 nephews: Jack, Raymond, Ethan, Kevin and Tyler; also leaving to mourn a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Toby was predeceased by her husband Harold Taylor; her father Edward Brake; and her mother in law Judy Taylor. The family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Chaulk, Dr. David Coleman, the staff of I.C.U., and 3B WMRH for their care and compassion through Toby’s sickness. At Toby’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at 10:30 am with Rev. Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
