Obituary of Shirley RINEHART
Shirley beloved wife of the Late Donald Mervin Rinehart of Calgary, passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
Shirley was born in Innisfail and was raised on a farm close by. She was the second of six children having three sisters and two brothers. As a young adult she made her way to Calgary where she married Donald Rinehart and raised two beautiful daughters.
Shirley was a very loving and generous person. She had an open door policy and was a mother to all. She was a great cook and loved to feed everyone. When she wasn’t asking you for second or third helpings, she was getting desert ready! She was known for her generosity and love of animals. She spoiled everyone! And we loved it. Shirley was an amazing individual and a beautiful soul. She was loved by many will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters Gail and Sandra Rinehart; sons-in-law, Ken McDonald and Louis Bourgeois; grandsons, Todd Lafontaine, Colin McDonald, Bradley Bridgewater; one great-granddaughter Sloane Turcotte.
A celebration of life will be held by friends and family this coming Spring.
