Schmoo »s Obituary
Long time resident of Hay River (NT), Gerald Wayne ‘Schmoo’ Belanger passed away at the Regional Health Center on January 30, 2019, at 61 years of age.
Schmoo was born August 18, 1957 in Ile a La Crosse (SK), to Lena (nee Ahenakew) and Leon J. Belanger. For much of his adult life, Schmoo worked as a heavy equipment operator with NTCL. He is survived and will be missed by his family, based in northern Saskatchewan.
A Memorial Service will take place at Our Lady if Assumption Parish in Hay River (NT) on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories Ltd.
