Passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at Guelph General Hospital at the age of 81.
Loving father of Jackie Flanagan (Jim) and Ron Jr. Gulliver (Lisa). Dear Poppy to Rachel (Benji), Evan (Sammie), Olivia and Molly.
Ron will be missed and remembered by his long time friend Joanne Berry.
Dear brother of Gerald, Edward, Betty and Wayne.
Predeceased parents John and Caroline Gulliver and brothers Joe, John.
Ron was a member of local 736 Ironworkers and a long time employee of Sutherland-Schultz and Onsite. He was a long time resident of the Stanley Park area and could often be found riding his bike, walking the dog, shopping at the mall or visiting at Tim Hortons.
Ron’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467 and will continue from 10-10:45 am on Thursday.
A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am on Thursday, January 24, 2019 followed by a reception.
Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ontario or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
