It is with sadness the family announce the death of Patricia Nelson of St. Martins, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday January 20, 2019. Born June 22, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Ethel (Marks) Mannett.
Pat is survived by her sons Carleton Kennedy and Wallace Kennedy (Melissa) both of Hamilton, ON; daughters Sandra Kennedy (Michael Carpini) of Montreal, PQ, Mary Kennedy (Peter DeSotto) of St. Martins and Charlene Kennedy of Montreal, PQ; grandchildren Anthony & Daniel, Katelyn & Ian, Stephanie & Brittney, Nicole & Joshua; great grandchildren Lyly-Jade, Jayden, Landon and Nina; brother Barry Mannett (Mary) of St. Martins; sisters Marilyn Rogers of Saint John, Carol Benjamin (Chesley) of Gardeners Creek, Edna French (Robert) of St. George, Brenda French (Rocky) of Back Bay, Rhonda Foster (Steven) of St. Martins and sister-in-law Gwen Mannett of St. Martins; several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents; Pat was predeceased by her husband John Nelson; brothers Winston and Whitfield “Ducky” and a sister Blanche Almond.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Saturday January 26th, 2019 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation.
