It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Norman Edward McLeod which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 20th, 2019. Born 1940, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Thibodeau) McLeod. Norman worked as a Truck Driver for many years. He enjoyed doing crafts, crossword puzzles and playing darts.
Norman is survived by his brothers Albert (Claudette) of Newcastle, NB, Melvin (Theresa) of Westfield, NB, Thomas (Sandy) of Keswick, ON, Allan (Lois) of Saint John; sisters Margaret (Ron) of Fredericton, Corrine (Tom) of Saint John, Donna of Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Norman was predeceased by his cherished daughter Alexis and siblings Thelma, Dorothy, Josie, Annie and Robert.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Normans’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Norman’s final resting place will be with his daughter in Ontario. Donations in memory of Norman may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
