Obituary of Linda Gallant
Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, Linda Gallant of Carbonear, age 63 years. Predeceased by parents: Michael and Julia Farrell; sister: Ann Marie Farrell. Leaving to mourn, husband: Ron; two sons: Sheldon (Frances), Carbonear and Stephen (Monica), Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren: Dakota, Jayden, Carmen, and Marcy; two brothers: Philip Farrell and Michael (Janice) Farrell, both of Carbonear; two sisters: Colleen (Bern) McDonald, Hr. Grace and Madonna (Randy) Crane, Mount Pearl; her card buddies, homecare workers and her work family at the Princess Sheila Nageira Theatre; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Linda’s doctors and all hospital staff who cared for her during her illness. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
