Obituary for Karen Elizabeth Massey
Passed away at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Karen Elizabeth Massey, at the age of 57 years. Beloved mother of Marcia Church (Gary Daye) and beloved grandmother and great grandmother of Kendra-Marie Church, Gary Church, Abby Church, and Jaxton Elson. Karen is survived by her life partner James Chapman. Also survived by her sisters Nancy (Robert), Christine (Jeff), Judy (Roger), Peggy (Dan), Eleanor (Charlie), Jean (Geoff), Jane (Doug), Gail (Peter), and Tracy (David); her brothers Wayne (Rose), William, Jeffrey, and Jack; and her many nieces and nephews. Karen is predeceased by her mother Lillian Massey, her father Winfred Massey, her first Love Kenny Church, and her grandson Landen Church.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. A ceremony celebrating Karen’s life will follow in the chapel at 12:30 pm. Donations in memory of Karen may be sent to CHEO or Diabetes Canada.
