Passed away on January 11, 2019
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, Aunt & Friend at the Palliative Unit of St Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2019. Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years Sandy (March 2018). Survived by her children Paula (Ted), Alex & Jason (Carrie). Wonderful Nana to Steve, Nicky (Lyle), Bobby, Jessica, Megan & Josh. Great Nana to Hazelyn Goddard. Sister to Don (the late Margaret), Frank (Jenny), Tom (Margaret), Margie (Dave), John (Cathy). Predeceased by both her parents & sisters Jean & Judy. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, friends & neighbours. Lifelong friend of Sharon Burkholder. Thank you to the staff on the Palliative Unit 4th floor, St Joseph’s Hospital. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 11 am until the time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
