In Loving Memory of Douglas Reynolds
Doug passed away peacefully on January 23, 2019 at The Moncton Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Springhill, NS son of the late Angus and Alberta Reynolds. He was the brother of five sisters and three brothers with one sister, Joan White surviving him.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 68 years, Doris, his children, Doug (Valerie) of Five Islands, NS, Kathy (Tony) of Moncton, NB, Joe (Cathy) of Moncton, NB , Roger (Abby) of Fredericton, NB , Debbie (Frank) of Fredericton, NB, and Carla (Pete) of Oakville, ON; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Doug was a highway trucker with Irving Oil where he was an owner operator for many years. He enjoyed bowling with his wife, both were members of the Charlie’s Angels dance group and both were members of the Champlain Place Walking Club. His favourite past time was spending time with his family at their cottage in Cameron’s Beach, NS.
A service to Celebrate Doug’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:30 pm with visitation from 12:30 pm until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, The Lewisville Baptist Church Building Fund, The Harrisville United Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
