He had a great appreciation for music, especially Jazz and Blues. David loved being « one with nature », and during his retirement years, he particularly enjoyed camping at the family’s summer place along the Miramichi River (Whitney, NB), where he enjoyed wood-chopping, canoeing, bird-watching (with a special knack for imitating various bird-calls), then spending the Winters in Florida along with his wife, Irene.

David’s family wish to express their deepest gratitude to all the dedicated and caring staff of Birch Grove Unit at York Care Centre, who made the final years for David and his family easier to bear, and so much better than it otherwise would have been. Also, a special Thank-you to his primary « GP », Dr. Anand Irrinki, for his kind, compassionate care of David over the years.
