Amy J. Ward
The death of Amy Julian Ward of Glassville occurred on Tuesday,
January 15, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
July 19, 1939 in Connell, NB she was the daughter of the late Russell
and Lucinda (Craig) Black. She was also predeceased by her husband,
George Ward and 2 infant siblings.
Amy was known for her good cooking, especially homemade bread and
deserts. She never wanted anyone to leave hungry. She was a animal
lover, especially cats. Amy had a strong Anglican faith that was
important to her. In her younger years she was a amazing seamstress
and could make something out of nothing.
Amy is survived by 3 children, Herbert Ward, Cindy Ward and Sterling
Ward; cousins Clara Anderson and Arthur Black; sister in law Gladys
Sherwood as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Keeping Amy’s wished her body has been donated to Dalhousie University
for Medical Research. The interment will be held at a later date.
Donations made to a memorial to a donor’s choice would be appreciated.
