Irwin, Wynnifred Evelyn “Bev”
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverley “Bev” Irwin at the age of 98 on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at Park Lane Terrace in Paris. As part of five generations in the family, she was deeply loved and will be missed by all. Loving mom to her son, Ken Brazier and his wife Rosemary. Grandma of Michele and Marcel Petrella, Carol and Bob Sproul, Cathy and Bruce McHutchion. Great-grandma to Mike (Gabi) and Joe (Erin) Petrella, Brielle (Trevor) Brazier-Hinton, John (Laurie) Grose and Ty McHutchion. Great-great-grandma to Sloane Corliss. Sister of Gwen Jones and Verna Weatherhill. Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Henry “Mike” Irwin, sisters Edith Lafrenniere and Mary Craig and brothers, George and Ken Flint. Bev was very active and enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, gardening and travelling, she was also an avid reader and a dedicated volunteer to many charities throughout her life. She had many interests and hobbies and even more friends! She thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Seniors Club in Eagle Place to name one of so many. The family would also like to sincerely thank Dr. Catherine Hanley and all the staff at Park Lane Terrace for their care of Bev at the end of her life. Bev’s family would like to invite relatives and friends to a visitation from 10:00- 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE 30 Nelson Street, Brantford. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Wynnifred
