William Robert Rodger
Rodger, William Robert – Passed away peacefully on September 16, 2018 at Clinton Hospital in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Joan (Nee Chapman) for over 63 years. Cherished father of Warren, David (Bonnie Hallam), Vickie Siddon, Neil (Tracy), Sheila (Ken Barker) and the late Norman (1969). Adored grandpa of Matthew and Michelle Siddon, Connor,Colton and Michaela Rodger, Lisa Jacques(Aaron Swick) and Michelle (Tyler Corriveau) Rothner. Great grandpa of Addison McPherson, Olivia Swick and Carlee Rothner. Predeceased by his parents Emmerson and Phyllis Rodger and his brother Keith Rodger. Dear brother of Betty (Buzz) Helesic, Gary Rodger and Clare (Linda) Rodger. William will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the Clinton Hospital, CCAC and Horizon ProResp for taking such great care of him. Friends will be received on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home (11 Cambria Road North, Goderich) from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Following the service there will be a celebration of life held at the Royal Canadian Legion (56 Kingston Street, Goderich) from approximately 12 PM until 2 PM. Memorial donations can be made to the Clinton Public Hospital, Diabetes Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
