KOHLRUSS, William George
March 24th, 1929 – June 4th, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Kohlruss, long time resident of Clyde and Westlock, announces his passing on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his children; Debbie of Grande Prairie, Gary (Lorena) of Ladysmith, BC, Ken (Gwen) of St. Albert County and Tom (Aline) of Sherwood Park. The joys of his life, his 9 grandchildren Kelly, Tamara (Mitch) Bombier, Jeff (Courtney), David, Mathew, Quintin, Josh, Jordon and Arie; great grandchildren Luka & Hudson Bombier and Jacob Kohlruss; his sisters Nora Budinski and Bernice Ravio both of Edmonton as well as Helen the mother of his children, close friend Lou and numerous nieces, nephews family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents Ludwig & Caroline; his brothers Arnold, Louis, Ozzie, John and Ed; his sisters Emma and Frieda. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the East Wing of the Westlock Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to our dad. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Westlock Funeral Home (10004 – 105 Street, Westlock, AB) on Monday, June 11th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the Westlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery (16310 – Stoney Plain Road, Edmonton, AB). Memorial donations may be made in Bills memory to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
