Walsh, William Gordon
Age 55 of Lower Sackville, passed away at home on Saturday, January 6 2018.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Betty and the late Bernie Walsh.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and kayaking. He loved to play his guitar. He was excited about his new Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be remember for his great sense of humour, he was very fond of Monty Python movies and the Blues Brothers. His most favourite memories were spent with his family. His grandchildren will miss their papa dearly.
He will be missed by his sons, Damien (Robyn), Jonathon, and Ryan MacKeigan; daughters, Cheryl (Ben) Bates, Barbara Walsh; granddaughters, Annagail and Carly-Jo MacKeigan; sisters, Jeannette (Tim) Wright, Karen (Edwin) Hamelin, Kathy (Doug) MacNeil, Barbara (Tony) Murtagh, Mary-Beth (Calvin) Walsh; brothers, Jimmy (Nancy), Michael (Deb), Kevin, and Steven (Rose) Walsh; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, William was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra; brother, Joey; and sister in infancy, Mary.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 13 at Ste. Croix Parish, 1148 Monk’s Head Rd., Pomquet, with a reception to follow in Father P. J. Baccardax Hall, also in Pomquet.
