Bill passed away peacefully on January 15, 2018. He was born in Regina Saskatchewan on October 13, 1925. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, brother-in-law Keith, and sister-in-law Dorothy: he is survived by his sister Isobel, brother Bruce (Dolores), his beloved wife of 66 years, Lindy, children Beth, Bob (Heather), Ken (Margaret), Maureen (Gary) and grandchildren Tim, Meghan (Marko), Emily, Molly (Dylan), Dana, Carmen (Peter), Julian, Carley, Katey (Brent), and Ben (Alexis), great-grandchild Luka, and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. Bill was a teacher/librarian in the Penticton, Cowichan and Comox, school districts. He played the trombone in many different bands. He loved reading, gardening, skiing, and being outdoors. The family would like to thank Resthaven Lodge for their loving care and kindness. A family gathering will follow at a later date.
