William « Eugene » McNally
1949-2018
Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital,
O’Leary, with his family and friends at his side, on Sunday,
May 20, 2018 of W. Eugene McNally of Brae, aged 69.
Eugene was born in Beaton Road on March 2, 1949, son of the
late William and Mary (MacDonald) McNally. He was the beloved husband
of the late Elsie (Hart) McNally.
Cherished partner of Pearl Bulger, Brae. Caring father of
Michael, at home; Lori Doucette, St Louis; Vanessa (Kris) Deveau,
Church Point, NS; Terry (Jen Ferguson), Halifax, NS; Joey (Kendall
Cook), Kinkora and Shawn (Krista) Bulger, Kelly Road. Loving
grandfather to Jade, Jaxen, Ethan, Parker, Emma, Kaden, Elle,
Nathaniel, Madelyn and Reilyn.
Dear brother to Everett , Foxley River, Wilna Connelly,
Toronto; Margaret Cornish, Summerside; Mildred Arsenault, Hamilton,
ON; Myra (Cedric) Pineau, Toronto; Harold McNally (Patsy Ellis),
O’Leary; Diane McKie (Ronnie Luke), Summerside; and Gerald
(Nancy) McNally, Beaton Road. Brother in law to Gladys (John) Steele,
Summerside; Janet (Lloyd) Smith, West Point; Leigh (Janine) Hart,
Brae; Barry Hart (Sharon Clements), Alberton and Jerry (Janet) Hart,
Dunblane.
Also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews
and friends Randy (Brenda) Wilson and Mark Doucette.
Predeceased by his parents, wife Elsie, daughter Jeannie in
infancy, son in law Troy Chaisson, brother Arnold, brothers in law,
Fabian Connelly, Vince Arsenault, Claude Cornish, Owen Hart and Alvin
Hart.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm
and Thursday from 1pm until 2:30pm, then to Immaculate Conception
Roman Catholic Church, Brae for funeral Mass at 3pm. Interment to
follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In memorial of Eugene, memorials to the IWK Health Centre
Foundation would be appreciated.
