Obituary Overview
Dyble, Vivian
Vivian Myrtle Dyble died peacefully, on August 17, 2018, in the Palliative Care Unit, at the Four Counties Hospital, Newbury, Ontario. Vivian was born on Sept. 26, 1925 in Saint John, New Brunswick, the daughter of Angus and Margaret MacLeod. Vivian thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, and growing up with her siblings. She was an excellent student, who loved reading, and all family activities. Vivian enjoyed all sports, and her children inherited many of her
athletic abilities. In 1948, Vivian married a strapping young British seaman, John William Dyble (“Jack”), and shortly thereafter, they moved to Toronto, Ontario to start a new life. Jack held many positions, starting as a Cook, and progressing through many functional and management positions until his retirement in London, Ontario. Vivian supported the family at different times, with part time positions, although our family was a very active unit. In addition to raising their four children Vivian took part in volunteer activities at the Earlscourt United Church in Toronto. She also was a volunteer with the London Library. Vivian was a dedicated mother raising her family. She enjoyed her days in the garden, and watching/feeding the goldfish in the pond, at the family farm in Dashwood, Ontario. Vivian is survived by her sisters, Donna (Truesdale), Sylvia (Curbishley), and her older brother Angus; also survived by her sons, John (Linda), Ken (Shirley) and Steve (Margaret), and her daughter Laura (Randy). She is survived by her grandchildren, John, Kristine, Hilarie, Nicole, Melanie, Stephanie, Mark, Shane, and Brittany, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband Jack, her brother Edward, and her sisters Margaret (Griffin) Doris (Henry), and Lola (Mitton). We would like to sincerely thank the people involved with her many years of care and assistance at the Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville, Ontario, and for those dedicated medical professionals involved at the Four Countiees Hospital during her final days. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 11:00AM. Interment following in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Vivian Dyble 2018.
