Verna Ramisch
March 5, 1931 – December 10, 2018
On December 10, 2018, Verna Ramisch of Edson, AB passed away at the age of 87 years.
Left to mourn her loss are her 4 daughters Doris (Len Stogrin) of Edson, Diane (Rick Reuther) of Edmonton, Elaine Kendall (Lloyd Bauman) of Edson, and Hazel Ramisch (Dean McMullen) of Ontario.
Also surviving are her 1 brother Alf (Elaine Weisser) of Edson; and her 3 sisters Vie Heath of Mission, B.C., Rose Bourdin of Edmonton, and Irene Jones of Kamloops, B.C. She will also be lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Verna was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1986; her grandson Benny Stogrin in 1976; her mother Bertha in 1988; her father Paul in 1977; sister Olinda Larson in 2004 and brother Ray Weisser in 1998.
Verna worked at the Edson Hospital for 28 years. She loved dancing, camping, fishing and bingo. Her true passion was her grandchildren and all of their children. She was also known for her crafting.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson, with Reverend Kimberley Roy, officiating. Interment will take place in the Glenwood Cemetery.
