COONS, Valerie Ann – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Valerie Coons on Thursday, December 20th, 2018, at home surrounded by the comfort of family in her 87th year. Predeceased by parents Howard and Helen Keeler. Beloved wife of Carl Coons for 67 years. Loving mother of Terry Coons (Wanda), Howie Coons (Chantal) and predeceased by daughter Margaret Ann (Harry). Sister to Gail Wray (Late Ronald), Lois Larade (Charles), Donald MacMillan (Mela), Rick McMillian (Karon), predeceased by siblings Shirley Gordon (Ken), and Kenneth MacMillan (Colleen). Loving grandmother to Jason (Danielle), Nicole (Jeremy), Ryan (Kristina), Jessica (Adam), Zachary, Carly (Alex). Great Grandmother to Nya, Dane, Locklyn, Eli, Everett, Elliott, Owin, and Cooper. Valerie will be ever remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Valerie’s life will be held at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
