GIRDLESTONE, Thomas Vernon
Passed away peacefully in his 73rd year with family by his side, on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Tom is survived by his children Christine (Ken) Russell, Susan Cousineau, James Cousineau, Daniel Cousineau, Donna (Richard) Gagnon, and Tess (Eric Ross) Cousineau. He will also be missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Collette and his daughter Helen Millie. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00PM at FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell). The family would like to thank the medical staff in the Critical Care, Trauma Unit at LHSC Victoria Campus for their efforts, compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory can be made to the World Health Organization or a charity of your choice.
