It is with heartfelt sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Thérèse L’Heureux who quietly slipped away to be with our Lord on June 2, 2018, at the age of 96, after several months of declining health.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Georges, Louise (George), Régine (Shane); grandchildren: Leanne, Mark, Chantal, Tessa, Shaun, Theo and Sydney; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Celina, James, Viviena, Nicola; great great granddaughters: Bentley, Audrey; sister: Marie Paule Coté of Black Creek, BC; brother: Jean Rodrigue and sister in-law: Beatrice Rodrigue of Québec; sister-in-law, Fernande Letourneau; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Thérèse was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Lucien; infant daughter; parents: Marie Louise and Paul; brothers: Marcel and Louis.
As a dedicated member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), Thérèse unselfishly donated her time and skills for many parish bazaars, bake and craft sales throughout the years. A kind, easy going lady who had a lovely smile and lots of love to share with all her family and friends, she has left this world but not our hearts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at St. Edmund’s Parish, 13120 – 116 Street, Edmonton, Alberta with visitation prior to Mass. Cremation to follow.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Kensington Shepherd’s Care.
In memory of Thérèse, donations may be made to Kensington Shepherd’s Care, 12603 – 135 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5L 5B2.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Therese L’Heureux Maiden Rodrigue of Edmonton
