“Ted” Edmund Goad –
passed peacefully October 17, 2018, at Greater Niagara General Hospital in his 84th year. Ted owned Goad Drain Service in Pickering prior to hiring on to the City of Scarborough in the Public Works Department where he worked until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing his guitar and singing, wood carving, and spending time with his family. A man with a good sense of humor who always had a story or joke to tell, and a faithful Shriner. He was a man of integrity who will be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife Heather Sanders, son Kenny of Scarborough, sister in laws Irene Russell, Darlene Eaton both from Campbellford, Flo Russell of Pickering, brother in law Roy Russell of Fenelon Falls, Earl More of Wellington, Linda (Doug) Dobson of Niagara Falls and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife Ruth Eaton, brother Doug Goad, brother in laws, Gerald Russell, Harold (Margaret) Russell, Gord (Marion) Russell, Walt Russell, Ron (Patricia) Eaton, and sister in laws Evelyn (Bill) Sieber, Shirley (Art) Holland, Edna Russell, Betty Russell, and Carol Magee.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, with visitation from 10 – 11 am, and service following at 11 am, at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls (905) 354-5614. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.
