OBITUARY
Sudhir Singh Uppal
19 March , 1947 – 10 May , 2018
With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Sudhir Uppal passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 71.
Sudhir served 20 years as a Special Constable with the OPP. He was also an accomplished sitar musician. He was an eccentric and friendly man who loved to collect whimsical items. Sudhir will be dearly missed and always remembered by his wife Sudha Uppal, daughter Leena Uppal (Matthew Birtch), son Neil Uppal (Sarah Uppal), grandchildren Maxwell and Noah, and his brothers Ranjit Uppal, Kamal Uppal, Inder Uppal, and their families. Sudhir was predeceased by his parents, Jagpal and Sanyukta Uppal. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at Barthel Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00. Cremation will follow at Holy Cross Crematorium (620 Governor’s Rd. E, Paris). As expressions of sympathy, donations in Sudhir’s memory may be made to the Chartwell Westbury Long-term Care home (495 The West Mall, Etobicoke, ON M9C 5S3). The family would like to thank the staff of Westbury LTC for the care and compassion they showed to Sudhir over the years.
