“Gone Fishing”
ROY, Simon Clement – With deep sadness, we announce Simon’s passing on September 4, 2018 at Health Sciences North with his loving family at his side. Simon is predeceased by his father Albert Roy. Simon was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished. Simon’s story starts December 15, 1976. He was born and raised in Kirkland Lake and later, as a young man met his wife Tammy Tennant and together they raised two beautiful and caring children Carson and Kya Roy. He leaves behind his mother Patricia Trudel; his siblings; Steven (Jessica) Roy of Kirkland Lake, Albert Jr. Roy of Matachewan, Jessica Roy of Orillia and Samantha Roy (Dakota) of Kirkland Lake as well as his precious and faithful dog Harley. Loved ones that will miss Simon until they meet again are numerous nieces, nephews and extended families. Fondly remembered for his great love of fishing, hunting and 4 wheeling. Simon was a dedicated father who always found time to coach soccer, hockey and was often seen cheering on from the sidelines of whatever activity Carson and Kya joined.
